Zimbabwe

  • All year round

  • Zimbabwe enjoys a pleasant climate throughout the year, with warm sunny days and cooler, clear evenings. From November to April, the landscape becomes greener and birdlife is particularly abundant. The drier winter months, from May to August, offer excellent conditions for wildlife viewing, while September and October are typically hotter and more arid.

  • A yellow fever vaccination certificate is only required if arriving from a country where yellow fever is present.

Vaccinations such as hepatitis A are generally recommended, along with an updated TPD (tetanus, polio, diphtheria).

Malaria is present in certain regions of Zimbabwe, and preventive measures, including medication, may be required depending on your itinerary.

We advise consulting your healthcare provider or travel clinic prior to departure.

  • Visa requirements vary depending on nationality, and some travellers may need to apply in advance, while others can obtain a visa on arrival.

A passport valid for at least six months is required. You may be asked to provide a return or onward flight ticket and confirmation of your accommodation.

We advise checking current requirements prior to departure.

Zimbabwe offers one of Africa’s most diverse and compelling safari experiences. From the Zambezi River and the dramatic setting of Victoria Falls to the remote wilderness of Hwange and Mana Pools, the country combines exceptional wildlife with striking natural beauty. Home to some of the continent’s largest elephant populations and a collection of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Zimbabwe reveals a more authentic and quietly remarkable side of Africa.
